Located 65 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta on 283 acres along I-85 inside the Commerce industrial complex, the 2.4 million-square-foot manufacturing facility is SK Innovation’s first EV battery factory in the U.S.

Phase 1

Work began in spring of 2019 with phase 1 of the project. Facilities include multiple roof elevations and mezzanine decks.

Phase 2

Phase 2 began construction in the last quarter of 2020. This consisted of a 1.2 million-square-foot facility located along Phase 1 of the project. Phase 2 also included eight additional buildings totaling 90,000 square feet:
